Writing Backwards!

Today we learned how to write backwards like Leonardo da Vinci did in his notebooks. It was hard at first, but it's cool. When you hold it in a mirror you can read it!

Our friends John and Ana from Brazil gave us a hammock. We tied it to one of the trees in the yard. When mom parks the truck there we put the other end in the tailgate. It's fun.

Last night I got a big hit in my game. I earned one RBI. We won 8-4. We have won all our games so far.

Friday!

I'm glad it's Friday.

This week we learned about Michigan, New York, and Ohio. We also learned some sign language. We learned the alphabet and some words.

I am reading "Treasure Island" and mom is helping with some of the words. They talk funny in this book. I'm at the part where Jim meets a guy that had been on the island alone for 3 years, and they are leaving the ship for a stronghold on the island to hold off the pirates. It's getting interesting now.

Baseball

Last night I had baseball practice. I didn't do very good at batting. But I did good at sliding.

Tonight I have a game. I hope I do better at batting. And I hope I'm still the lead off batter.

The new school year has started

This year I am learning cursive. We also started sign language. Mom wants me to learn spanish but I want to learn japanese.

In art we are learning about Leonardo da Vinci. We played a mystery game about him on the internet. He invented war machines and made drawings of flying machines. His famous art is the Mona Lisa.
